Memorial Day

We had a very busy Memorial Day Weekend. Patrick and Lindsay came into town to meet Grady and visit us. We had Ryan, Gillian, Brian, Elissa, Ron, Christy and Craig over for dinner on Saturday night and had a great time eating and playing Wii.

On Sunday, we headed to Savannah for Andy and I to have our first night away from Grady. We dropped him off at Grandma and D-Daddy's - Aunt Jenny was also there - and headed to the Savannah Hilton for the evening. We knew his hiney would never touch the ground with those three spoiling them. We had a great time - we ate at the City Market, took a Rickshaw ride, and got a full night of sleep (although I did have to wake up in the middle of the night to pump, but I didn't have to put the pump back to sleep!). The Grandparents and Aunt said that Grady also had a great night and they seemed to love taking care of him. Andy and I had so much fun together, but we missed our boy! We couldn't get back to their house quick enough on Monday afternoon. We hung out and ate dinner and headed back to Charleston Monday evening. Thank you Dave, Wanda and Jenny for taking care of our sweet boy and letting us have a night away.

This is how we found Aunt Jenny and Grady after our night away. Andy immediately grabbed him and woke him up so they could start playing.

I love all of the pictures, and it looks like y'all had a blast! Sorry we didn't make it over Saturday night . . . we were exhausted when we got back from the lake.

So glad that you got to steal a bit of time away. Want to make a comment about you getting a 'full night's sleep' but will refrain since too many grandmas read this blog. :P
