1ST BIRTHDAY

Our baby turned 1 on April 14 and it was very bittersweet! We're having so much fun watching him grow and learn new things, and of course we love sleeping through the night, but it has definitely hit us that he's going to be graduating from college before we know it. It really seems like yesterday that we met him for the first time. I tell him every day that I will still rock him like a baby even when he's 20! : ) No, I'm not kidding. Anyway, Grady's 1st birthday party was April 11, 2009 and it was a blast! The boy is such a social butterfly that it didn't even occur to him that it was odd that over 40 people were piled into his living room. He played and laughed and ate and dug into his cake and then took a long nap! Lots of friends and family came to celebrate with us and spoiled him rotten - we're going to have to buy a bigger house because people were so generous and he got tons of fun toys. Enjoy the pictures!
